I have reinstalled the OS, it's actually worse after the re-installation, as in the system is even slower. I had AVG, so uninstalled it and installed Avast- on the advice of an expert on Geeks to go. I have not recently installed any new programs. I have run sfc /scannow, dism /cleanup-image /restorehealth, to no avail. I have attached a screenshot jpg of the task manager screen.ĭisk is running at 99 or 100% most of the time, sometimes memory usage is also maxed out, and this is when I am not performing any tasks with no programs or browsers open.
